Chicago’s a tough town. But how will residents of our fair city react when confronted with some of the most terrifying creatures our planet has ever known? Find out when Dino & Dragon Stroll, a national touring event, stomps into Chicago for the first time.

The interactive event will feature the largest terrible lizards touring the country standing over 28 feet tall and 60 feet long transforming Navy Pier into a modern-day Mesozoic marvel July 23—24. Get up close and personal with moving, roaring dinosaurs from the Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous periods as well as fantastical dragons throughout.

With the latest animatronic and sound tech, visitors will come face-to-face with favorite dinos, including the T-Rex, Velociraptor and Stegosaurus, that move, blink, “breathe” and roar so realistically, they feel almost alive.

Dino & Dragon Stroll is partnering with Nourishing Hope as part of their “Stomp Out Hunger” initiative to help children and families in the Chicago area facing hunger and food insecurities. Visitors are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to deposit in bins at the front event’s front entrance.

The event will also host a story time and craft station for children. Activity tickets can be purchased for themed rides, bounce house inflatables, dinosaur scooters, walking dinosaur rides and stationary rides that simulate the experience of riding a real dinosaur.

There will be a sensory-friendly session 8:30 a.m. July 23 offering a modified experience with sound and light adjustments designed to be less stimulating and overwhelming for those with sensory sensitivities.

Catch the Dino & Dragon Stroll at Navy Pier, 600 E. Grand Ave. Tickets start at $26.99. Children under 2, Military and Veterans are free. Tickets available online and onsite.
