NASCAR announced that the pulse-pounding action of NASCAR will return to the streets of Chicago for the third installment of the Chicago Street Race Weekend, July 5-6, 2025. The Chicago Street Race Weekend will once again bring NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series racing to the same 12-turn, 2.2-mile street course, for a family-friendly experience in the heart of downtown.

“The Chicago street race Weekend has quickly become one of the highlights of the Chicago summer calendar, so we are proud to bring NASCAR back to this great city for a third year in a row,” said Julie Giese, Chicago Street Race President. “We look forward to continuing to build on the tremendous success of 2023 and 2024 to deliver one of the most unique sporting events in the country and continuing to help drive tourism to Chicago.”

Last year’s Chicago Street Race drove tourism from 24 countries around the globe, and netted millions in direct taxes, fees, and payments to the City in 2024 alone. NASCAR is committed to Chicago year-round, with a full-time Chicago office and more than $5 million invested in local community initiatives to-date.

The announcement comes as a part of today’s overall NASCAR 2025 schedule release, which features other notable additions, including the first-ever Cup Series race in Mexico City. More information, including Chicago Street Race Weekend fan experiences and on-sale dates will be announced in the near future. Deposits are currently available for first access to tickets.
