FireLake Grill spread

Manager Zyren Mae Posadas describes FireLake as "more of a smokehouse, farmhouse cocktail bar."

FireLake Grill House's first Chicago location debuted July 8 at New Eastside's Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel.

"We have a brand-new concept here in the restaurant we have a farm-to-table concept, as opposed to before, which was Italian," said Zyren Mae Posadas, a manager at FireLake Grill House. "Now, we're more of a smokehouse, farmhouse cocktail bar."

The restaurant offers outdoor patio seating and a menu featuring handcrafted sandwiches and specialities such as coffee-rubbed smoked brisket and cider fish and chips. On weekends, diners can order brunch items.

"We've got our open restaurant, where the whole wall retracts so we're able to have tons of air flow in and out," Posadas added.

FireLake Grill House is open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. for lunch and 4-11 p.m. for dinner. On Saturdays and Sundays, brunch is served from  8 a.m.-2 p.m.
