A trio of neighborhood restaurants are making an effort to ease the burden of COVID restrictions by offering free delivery to neighborhood buildings in Lakeshore East.
Eggy’s Diner, Drunken Bean and Gordo’s Tiny Taco Bar have announced that patrons who request delivery within the neighborhood and place orders directly from the restaurant will get their food delivered for free. Each of the restaurants is located on the Park at Lakeshore East.
Eggy’s and Gordo’s also supply food and drink for the Lakeshore East Food & Beer Garden.
Nick Papagiorgio, proprietor of all three establishments, has been a fan of New Eastside since he first visited the area before opening Eggy's.
“The people are the greatest thing about this neighborhood,” he told New Eastside News in July. “The people, the park, the atmosphere, you know, you’re in a suburb in the city. Which is pretty cool.”
