Local residents showed their Streeterville spirit July 7 at the fourth annual Cap Streeter Run A'Ground Party, hosted by community members Gail Spreen and Dennis Downes at the roof deck at the Loews Hotel. Attendees tipped their hats to riverboat captain and Streeterville founder George Wellington “Cap” Streeter, whose fascinating legacy lives on more than a century later.

Guests also had the opportunity to learn more about the charitable organization "Building Boats Building Kids" during the event.
