A Chance the Rapper video that was filmed at the Michigan Ave. Ralph Lauren store premiered last night on the Ralph Lauren x Bitmoji Snapchat channel. The previously recorded live set debuted about a month after Ralph Lauren partnered with Snapchat to create a virtual wardrobe for Bitmjoi.
Described as “your own personal emoji,” Bitmoji is an application that allows people to create and customize personal avatars of themselves.
With the new partnership, RL fans can now “experience the world of Ralph Lauren through (their own) Bitmoji.” To dress their alter egos with the label's clothing, they can choose from “12 curated looks” and “over 100 ways to style” in a new "Mix and match" feature on Snapchat.
To complement the video, the app will feature a Chance the Rapper Bitmoji “outfitted in head-to-toe Ralph Lauren!”, according to People.com, which described Chance as “a close friend of the (Ralph Lauren) brand.”
A global exclusive. Ralph Lauren and Snapchat have joined forces to introduce the first-ever customizable #RalphLauren wardrobe for your Bitmoji.
Inspired by iconic Ralph Lauren looks, the newly launched collection features 12 curated outfits, 32 Polo Shirt colors, and over 100 ways to style. Once you create your Bitmoji look, watch your #RLBitmoji come to life through a host of digital experiences on and off Snapchat, including games, Chat, the Snap Map, and much more.
