CPS officials announce new Covid-19 restrictions for unvaccinated students.

Chicago Public School officials just announced that unvaccinated students must quarantine next week if they're traveling out-of-state for Labor Day. The policy follows guidance outlined by the city's travel advisory.

An email was sent to parents after 8:30 p.m. Thursday, September 2.

Earlier this year, a Covid-19 outbreak occurred at University of Chicago as a result of students traveling for spring break, the CDC reports.
