The Service Club of Chicago will host its annual "Day on the Terrace" fashion show, this year themed "Here Comes the Sun," LIVE on Monday, August 2. For the first time in the event's long history, the fundraiser will be held at The Geraghty (2520 S. Hoyne) where over a dozen of the city's top retailers, designers and fashion houses will showcase their "first looks" for fall.
The runway presentation, produced by ZZAZZ Productions, will feature looks from alice + olivia, Anne Fontaine, Contessa Bottega,Cram Fashion, Elda de la Rosa Couture, Lauren Lein Ltd., Max Mara at Bloomingdale’s, Maximilian Chicago, Mira Couture, Neiman Marcus Michigan Avenue, Peter Millar, St. John, SYLWIA and Ted Baker Oak Brook.
The fun-filled and stylish afternoon, co-chaired by Jean Antoniou, Tracey DiBuono and Sharyl Mackey, will begin at 11am for cocktails with an 11:45am presentation followed by lunch. Also, for the first time, the Service Club's Auxiliary Board will host an after-party for ticketed guests (at an additional cost of $100). There, party-goers will literally kick off their heels (flip-flops will be provided) and enjoy a beach themed after-party on the premises.
Guests will take home loaded goody bags, a Look Book (with many images shot by John Reilly Photography) and great memories of supporting one of the city's oldest nonprofits. Since 1890, the Service Club of Chicago has provided grant support for some of Chicago's most deserving charities.
Lead sponsors and producers are Black Oak Technical Productions, Kehoe Designs, The Geraghty, and Tom Kehoe.
