Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood has been ranked among the most popular neighborhoods in the U.S. according to a recent survey. In a study conducted by air-quality company HouseFresh, Lakeview took the number 9 spot among the top ten most desirable communities.
The study reviewed Zillow listings in specific neighborhoods, and narrowed down which listings obtained the most daily views. The authors found that Lakeview received the most hits of any Chicago neighborhood, describing the northside community as a “Jewel in Chicago’s Crown.”
While Lakeview was one of the few Midwest locations to grab a top spot in the study, Chicago’s neighborhoods are no stranger to high popularity ratings. Just last year, Lakeview’s adjacent community Avondale was named one of the coolest neighborhoods in the world by TimeOut Magazine.
