Street closures for Lollapalooza 2024 are underway around Grant park ahead of the hugely popular four-day music festival.
Closures along Balbo Drive and Jackson Boulevard begin this week, with additional closures along Monroe Street, Columbus Drive, and Congress Plaza scheduled for next week, according to the Lollapalooza site.
Numerous sidewalk closures are also scheduled around Grant Park and the Loop.
Some street and sidewalk closures are scheduled to last through the middle of August as cleanup operations take place following the festival.
"We have worked with the City of Chicago to ensure we have a plan in place which maximizes convenience to all of our neighbors and minimizes overall impact to the street and circulation patterns for area residents and businesses," reads a statement on the Lollapalooza site.
"We have also coordinated the breakdown of the event to return your sidewalks, streets, and parkways to you as soon as possible."
Lollapalooza will take over Grant Park from August 1-4, featuring headlining performances from Megan Thee Stallion, The Killers, Blink-182, and Skrillex.
Visit the Lollapalooza site to view the comprehensive list of street and sidewalk closures and the full festival lineup.
