Old Navy on State Street to close

The Old Navy Store on State Street in downtown Chicago will close permanently on January 24, 2023.

Chicago, IL — Old Navy's flagship store is closing on State Street in downtown Chicago. The store as been at the 150 N. State St. location for 10 years.

It will close permanently on Tuesday, January 24 at 8 p.m.

Other Old Navy stores nearby include a location at the Roosevelt Collection, North and Kingsbury and at the River Center.

Block Club Chicago reported that a spokesperson had confirmed the closure in an email, after a review of the site. “We regularly and thoughtfully review our real estate to support the best path forward for our brand and Gap Inc. Our Old Navy State Street location will close on Tuesday, 1/24,” a spokesperson confirmed in an email. “Local customers can continue to shop at our other Chicago locations including Roosevelt Collection, North & Kingsbury, and Riverpoint Center, or shop our family of brands online.”
