PAWS Chicago will host its 21st "5K Walk/Run For Their Lives" Saturday, September 18 beginning in Montrose Harbor (Grove 16).
Sure there's a starting line and a finish line, but who cares? At the PAWS Chicago 5K, you're free to run, walk, dance or just sit on the curb playing with pooches. That's what happens when more than 7,000 humans and 3,300 pups come together for one of Chicago's largest dog-friendly charity event.
Beyond raising awareness and funds for homeless animals, the PAWS Chicago 5K is a day of costumes, carousing, meeting new friends, dog agility courses, live raffles, entertainment, treats, and tons of surprises.
