President Joe Biden will visit Chicago Wednesday to attend a campaign fundraiser that aims to generate $1 million in funds for his reelection bid, as first reported by the Chicago Sun-Times.
The high-profile fundraiser will have different donation categories, with guests able to commit to $100,000, $50,000, and $25,000 contribution levels. Contributors who donate to all levels will receive a photo with the President, according to the Sun-Times. All donations will support the Biden Victory Fund.
The President's visit on Wednesday is his second trip to the Chicago area in recent months. The President reportedly visited Chicago for a separate fundraiser hosted by democratic donors Michael and Cari Sacks in April, receiving nearly $2.5 million in donations, according to the Sun-Times.
Vice President Kamala Harris will also reportedly visit Chicago's northern suburbs on May 16 for a campaign fundraiser targeting female donors.
