COVID-19 health bubble

Topics on the Sept. 17 agenda include a COVID-19 forecast, updates on vaccines, and methods for maintaining a healthy bubble.

On Thursday, September 17, Skyline Village Chicago and Forward Chicago will host COVID-19, the flu & the coming months, a Zoom forum with Dr. Michael Ison, Professor of Infectious Diseases and Organ Transplantation at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine.

Described as a “primer for preparation of older adults and caregivers,” the agenda includes the forecast for COVID-19, the urgency to vaccinate for flu, an update on COVID-19 vaccines, and methods for maintaining a healthy bubble.

In addition to sharing information about seasonal flu and COVID, Dr. Ison will provide up-to-date reports on Northwestern’s current research and vaccine trials. He will also answer questions that can be pre-submitted to [email protected].

The forum will run from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. A Zoom link for the event will be emailed to attendees who complete the registration process by clicking here.
