The U.S. Navy Blue Angels will perform solo at this year's Chicago Air & Water Show.

It's an exciting and much welcomed sight each summer along the lakefront and, happily, an important part of the Chicago Air & Water Show will be returning on August 21/22 (Sat./Sun.), the U.S. Navy Blue Angels.

The parachuters, jump teams and stunt planes, like the Army Golden Knights and the Navy Leap Frogs, however, won't be returning. Hopefully, we will see the full contingent next year.

Until then, keep your eyes on the sky from noon to 1 pm each day, August 21/22, to see the spectacular U.S. Navy Blue Angels perform.
