Every state in our proud United States have some slogans associated with them.
Some are even humorous and you have to keep your sense of humor and not be afraid to laugh at yourself.
Some examples?
Arkansas: The state of brotherly—and sisterly love!
Alabama: Keeping it in the family since 1819
Florida: More than just a great place to die
Iowa: Our trees bend to the north because Minnesota sucks
Mississippi: Keeping Louisiana from being dead last in just about every quality-of-life category
Missouri: Missouri loves company
Montana: Proud to welcome all anti-government-isolationist-compound conventions
New Jersey: What smell?
New York: Come for the skyline. Stay because you were mugged and don’t have any money for the taxi to the airport.
North Dakota: You don’t want to visit here any more than we want to live here.
Oklahoma: Proudly named after an Indian tribe we slaughtered
Texas: We kill ’em, so you don’t have to!
West Virginia: It seemed like a good idea at the time.
Illinois: “Our state is flatter than the queen of hearts.”
Illinois: “So many cornfields that some cornfields actually have cornfields built inside the cornfields.”
Illinois: What’s scarier that “Lions, Tigers and Bears?”… Try “Mayors, aldermen and governors!”
Illinois: Driving straight through from Indiana to Missouri? What could possibly go wrong?
Visiting our largest city? Reminder: Keep your head on a swivel
Illinois: Proudly Democratic since Abraham Lincoln ( note: the Nixon years don’t count-he was impeached)
Illinois: Large pension plans, large deficits—small social service assistance.
Illinois: You can safely cross the borders in our state
