Wrigleyville has a new resident coming to its storied nightlife scene, and this neighbor is bringing an exciting spin on the classic sports bar concept.
Located at 3343 North Clark Street, Level Sporting Club will be a female athletics-focused sports bar scheduled to open in late April of this year.
Founded by former Whitney Young and Northwestern basketball player Clarrisa Flores, Level Sporting Club started out as an organization putting on pop-up events around the city to celebrate big women's sporting events. The pop-ups proved so successful that Flores decided to parlay the concept into a permanent brick-and-mortar location, giving a home to women's sports fans across the Chicagoland area.
Level Sporting Club’s mission is clear: “to amplify women’s athletics and create a space where competition, connection, and culture collide. Whether you’re here for the game, the food, or the people beside you, Level Sporting Club delivers an experience that’s bold, inclusive, and unmistakably Chicago.”
While Level emphasizes women's sports, the bar will also show men's sports and celebrate all Chicago teams. The establishment will be complete with a wide list of craft cocktails and a menu of elevated bar fare that is sure to offer a little something for everyone.
The growing interest in women's athletics over recent years has generated a stream of investments in infrastructure to support the growing pastime. While Level Sporting Club is not the first of its kind in the city—Babes Sports Bar in Logan Square and the Whiskey Girl Tavern being others—the new establishment continues this trend and helps shine a light on the increasing popularity.

Level Sporting Club will host a variety of themed nights throughout the week, including Tuesday Trivia, Wednesday Bingo, Thursday “all requests” piano night and a special Sunday brunch.
In addition to the main bar area, Level Sporting will also feature a downstairs speakeasy called “Next Level,” which offers an “intimate candlelight escape with a seductive, high-energy vibe” that will be open on Friday and Saturday nights.
So whether you're looking to support women's athletics, enjoy a great meal, or just kick back with a drink, Level Sporting Club is your new go-to spot in the Wingleyville neighborhood.
