Olympic champion Simone Biles and her husband, Indianapolis Colts safety Jonathan Owens, have sold their Houston-area home after it went under contract within days of being listed. The Spring, Texas, property closed for an estimated $1.08 million to $1.24 million, according to theHouston Business Journal.

The sale came as Biles shared an emotional farewell to the house in a TikTok video posted on Tuesday, Oct. 20. “Today is the first day the house is going to be on the market,” Biles says in the video, per USA Today. “This house will be on the market for the first time, and I don’t know why I’m boohoo crying.”

Biles recalls six years of memories

Biles showed the empty home and explained why leaving was difficult. “I was here for six years, and I feel like there were just so many good memories, so many bad memories,” she says, according to USA Today’s report. “It’s made me a real adult, so I’m gonna miss it. I didn’t think I’d be emotional about a house.”

The gymnast later wrote that she had planned to use air fresheners for potential buyers and show Owens the house one last time, USA Today noted. Instead, she said, she cried when the property went under contract.

Spring property sells quickly

According to the Houston Business Journal, the 3,998-square-foot home at 3932 Windsor Mist Lane went under contract on Saturday, Sept. 26, five days after its listing went live. The sale closed on Thursday, Oct. 15, the Houston Association of Realtors confirmed, per the Houston publication.

The four-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom house sits on more than 1 acre in the gated Castle Court at Benders Landing Estates community near Rayford Road. It was listed for $1.275 million, slightly above its appraised value of $1.2 million. The Houston Association of Realtors does not disclose the exact final sale price.

Biles said the couple decided to sell after completing a new “dream home.” Construction on that residence concluded in 2025, according to USA Today. The move marks the couple’s transition from a home tied to Biles’ early adulthood to a newly built residence designed for their next chapter.
