Ballyhoo Hospitality is excited to announce its newest dining concept, Gemini Grill in River North, the latest in a long list of Chicago restaurant openings in 2024.
The New American grill is the tenth restaurant for the group, which owns popular spots like Coda Di Volpe in Lakeview and Old Pueblo Cantina in Lincoln Park. Gemini Grill is an offshoot of Ballyhoo’s original Gemini Bistro in Lincoln Park which opened in 2009.
The new restaurant occupies a two-floor space at the intersection of State street and Chicago avenue. The dining areas feature a classic interior with a gorgeous racetrack bar, cozy clamshell booths, and candlelight ambiance.

Gemini Grill offers a fresh take on New American cuisine. Guests can dine on carefully curated dishes like Tuna Crudo, Steamed Mussels, and Steak Frites. The menu also features a long list of refreshing seasonal cocktails, crisp wines, and craft beers.
"Expanding our Gemini concept and bringing a new iteration to another trusted neighborhood is exciting. As we celebrate the 15th anniversary of Gemini Lincoln Park, it's not just about the restaurant; it's about the community that has supported us all these years," says Ballyhoo Founder and CEO Ryan O'Donnell.
