The Chicago Chefs Cook will raise money once again for charity on Wednesday, April 26, to celebrate Ina's 80th Birthday. The event will support the efforts of Pilot Light and Green City Market in honor of Chicago's famous Breakfast Queen, Ina Pinkney. This initiative will be the fifth fundraising event the Chicago culinary community has organized to raise money for others. The Chicago Chefs Cook has raised over $950,000 for Ukraine, Tigray, Puerto Rico, Turkey, and Syria. The upcoming fundraiser will be held at The Geraghty, located at 2520 S. Hoyne Ave, Chicago, IL.

The event takes place from 6 PM - 9 PM. Attendees will enjoy tasting stations from over 65+ fabulous Chicago chefs while celebrating Ina. Proceeds from the event will benefit two local charities, Pilot Light and Green City Market. Pilot Light works to bring food education to Chicago students. They strive to create a solid foundation for future generations to build upon and support themselves. By building this platform, people can support themselves and establish a sustainable community for the future. Green City Market works to create a sustainable food system. They believe it is crucial to create a community around sustainable food and encourage a learning environment for people of all ages to participate in a local food system. Both organizations' efforts towards food education make them the perfect charities for Chicago Chefs Cook.

There are two tickets available. VIP tickets are $250, with the doors opening at 6 PM. The ticket offers early entry to enjoy cocktails, chef's bites, and photos. There's even a meet and greet with Ina herself. General admission tickets are $150, with the doors opening at 7 PM.

The evening will be a celebration of the iconic Breakfast Queen Ina Pinkney. As a culinary leader, Ina has always made a commitment to organizations that have been close to her heart, and she still leads by example today.

This event is made possible by the Chicago Chefs Cook leadership team, including Chef Sarah Stegner (Prairie Grass Cafe), Chef Tony Priolo (Piccolo Sogno), Darren Gest (Deloitte Consulting), Eda Davidman (Chicago Chefs Cook) and Jodi Fyfe (The Paramount Group).
