Local Loop favorite 312 Chicago, located at the corner of Randolph and LaSalle, will be opening again on Tuesday, March 28, after being closed for 3 years as a result of COVID. The team is excited to share the space, which includes some light renovating and a new chef.

312 Chicago is adjacent to The Allegro Royal Sonesta Hotel in Chicago’s theater district situated next to the Cadillac Palace. The restaurant features innovative takes on Italian classics created by new Chef Marcello Florio. There’s also an extensive Italian wine list and craft cocktail program. New and returning guests will enjoy the Italian hospitality that will make them feel right at home.

Chef Florio was born and raised in Pescara, Italy. He has a love for cooking and that’s the only way Italian food should be served. Chef has memories of waking up on Sunday mornings to the smell of his mother and grandmother’s cooking. These memories have fueled his passion for what he does – creating authentic Italian cuisine. This drive will lead to a memorable experience for the diner.

The restaurant will also be kid-friendly offering a $15 menu for diners 12 and under. The culinary team is excited to revive the Allegro rooftop garden. They plan to grow herbs and vegetables to utilize in dishes and cocktails throughout the menu. Welcome back 312 Chicago.
