Riddle 1: The Chicago Picasso
Chicago Picasso is a sculpture that stands in the Daley Plaza. It was designed by the Spanish artist Pablo Picasso and was gifted to the city in 1967. The sculpture is made of Cor-Ten steel and is 50 feet tall and weighs about 162 tons. It is an abstract representation of a head, and its unique design has been a topic of conversation and debate since its installation. The Chicago Picasso was the first large-scale public artwork in Chicago and is now a beloved landmark of the city.
Riddle 2: The St. Regis Chicago
The St. Regis, formerly known as Vista Tower, is a luxury residential and hotel skyscraper located at 363 E Wacker Drive in Chicago, Illinois. It was designed by Jeanne Gang of Studio Gang Architects and developed by Magellan Development Group, with construction starting in 2016 and expected to be completed in 2021.
The St. Regis Chicago stands at 101 stories and 1,191 feet tall, making it the third-tallest building in Chicago and the sixth-tallest building in the United States. The building features 393 luxury condominiums and a 191-room hotel operated by St. Regis Hotels & Resorts.
