Chicago's Navy Pier

Navy Pier has announced that it will reopen to the public beginning June 10, operating daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Describing the move as “Phase 1,” the pier listed several activities, docks, kiosks, restaurants and stores that will be running, open or available for use, including select free programs and tour boats, on its website.

Preparations for the reopening included a focus on cleanliness, safety and training that continued throughout the stay-at-home closure.

New, stringent cleaning and sanitizing procedures will utilize electrostatic anti-microbial spray treatments. Health and wellness practices will include ongoing employee training that will continue “ongoing training as new information becomes available from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and health leaders at the state and local level.”
