The Great Gatsby Party swung into Chicago’s Union Station on Saturday evening, bringing the decadence of the Jazz Age to the 21st century. Guests were transported back to the roaring twenties for an elaborate party fit for Jay Gatsby himself.
Union Station was the ideal venue for The Great Gatsby Party, its historic interior serving as the perfect backdrop. Attendees dressed for the black tie event in vintage headpieces, sparkling dresses, and tailored suits.
Upon descending the steps of Union Station, partygoers were greeted by stilt walkers and a dazzling light display. Guests then had the chance to grab a glass of champagne or a classic cocktail at one of the several speakeasy-inspired bars dotted throughout the event.

VIP attendees had early access to The Great Gatsby Party, with added accommodations like an exclusive casino room. VIPs also enjoyed a petit fours and caviar banquet, a live swing band, and additional speakeasy areas.
The main event’s performances featured a lineup of daring and extravagant acts, kicking off with a death-defying sword-eating stunt. Subsequent acts included showgirls, aerialists, contortionists, burlesque stars, and other performers.
The Great Gatsby Party’s Chicago debut was the first of several nationwide events, and the lavish soiree delivered on all counts. For those who missed this year’s party, there’s no need to worry. Visit the Great Gatsby Party’s official site for upcoming events, locations, and other information.
