GERMANTOWN, Tenn. - Three juveniles are behind bars after they tried to steal a gun from someone they know during a meetup Thursday that led to gunfire in Germantown, police said.
The Germantown Police Department (GPD) said the juveniles are facing chares of aggravated robbery and criminal conspiracy to commit robbery.
GPD said the group met up with an acquaintance, also a juvenile, on Mimosa Tree Drive. Officers responded to the area after a report of shots being fired was called in.
Police said the group fought the acquaintance and tried to steal a firearm before gunfire erupted.
The group of juveniles were later arrested and taken to Juvenile Court, police said.
