FULTON, Ark. - Three people are dead and two others injured after three separate crashes on Westbound Interstate 30 in Fulton.
Arkansas State Police say the first crash happened around 1 a.m. Monday morning near the 18-mile marker.
An Arkansas Department of Transportation contractor was applying reflectors along the center of the road when he was struck and killed by a 2004 Buick Century. ASP says the Buick's driver left the scene and is still at large.
ASP says the second crash happened around 2:15 a.m., near the 19-mile marker. That crash resulted in minor injuries.
A third crash happened near the 20-mile marker, also on West I-30, involving three tractor trailers and a pickup truck. Two people were killed and two were seriously injured.
Police ask you to avoid the area. Use U.S. Highway 67 and expect significant delays.
