ARCADIA, La. -- A Mississippi man is in jail, charged in the shooting death of a Webster Parish man Sunday night in Gibsland.
Keondre Brice, 19, of Centerville, Miss., is in the Bienville Parish Jail charged with second-degree murder, attempted second-degree murder and aggravated assault with a firearm. No bond is set.
Bienville Parish Sheriff John Ballance said the shooting was reported around 9 p.m. in the Villa Apartments parking lot in Gibsland.
It resulted from a confrontation between Brice and Quanterrick Montgomery, 19, of Dubberly.
Bruce is alleged to have fired 17 rounds. One hit Montgomery and the rest were fired into Montgomery's vehicle that was occupied by two juvenile females and Montgomery's brother, Errick. None of the occupants were injured.
