T.D. Jakes, a non-denominational Christian pastor and motivational speaker, experienced what appeared to be a medical emergency during a sermon today.
In a live stream from The Potter's House, the church Jakes was speaking at, he can be seen slurring his words and going still.
He was then surrounded by people at the church.
The Potter's House of Dallas released the following statement on social media.
During today’s service, Bishop T.D. Jakes experienced a slight health incident and received immediate medical attention following his powerful hour-long message. Bishop Jakes is stable and under the care of medical professionals. The entire Potter’s House family is grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support from the community.
