At 12:30 a.m. Buchanan County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Douglas Leon Creger, 58, of Waterloo, for first offense operating while intoxicated (serious misdemeanor), driving while license barred (aggravated misdemeanor), third offense possession of controlled substance (Class D felony), possession of drug paraphernalia (simple misdemeanor) and interference with official acts (simple misdemeanor). This arrest was made following a traffic stop in the 900 block of Hawley Street in Jesup.
Wednesday, Nov. 20
At 6:15 a.m. deputies arrested Steven Curtis Meyers, 65, of Fairbank, on an active arrest warrant out of Buchanan County for original charges of driving while license revoked (serious misdemeanor) and driving while license suspended (simple misdemeanor). This arrest was made in the 500 block of East Main Street in Fairbank.
At 11 p.m. deputies arrested Chad Dean Hannan, 40, of Volga, for first offense operating while intoxicated (serious misdemeanor) and cited for failure to maintain control, failure to have valid driver’s license and operation of non-registered vehicle. This arrest was made near 120th Street and Olympic Avenue.
