Carthage, Texas – Carthage Main Street is excited to announce the 5th Annual Main Street Film Camp, taking place Monday, June 16, through Thursday, June 19, 2025, at the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame and the movie premier on Friday, June 20 at the Esquire Theater. This unique camp is open to students entering 3rd through 8th grade for the 2025-2026 school year and provides hands-on experience in the world of filmmaking.
Film Camp offers students the opportunity to work alongside professionals in various aspects of film production, including producing, directing, cinematography, art direction, costume design, video editing, and acting for film. Campers will have the option to focus on either “Production” or “Acting”, allowing them to explore their creative interests.
The camp culminates in an exciting Red Carpet Premiere of their film on Friday, June 20, at the historic Esquire Theater, where family, friends, and the community can celebrate their hard work on the big screen.
