The congregation of the Church of Christ that meets in Cosby was started by Creed Spurgeon about 1950 in a small structure with only a dirt floor. From that beginning, the church is now meeting in a new building.
We believe our purpose for being here is to preach the gospel of Christ without any deviation. Our motto is, “We speak where the Bible speaks. We’re silent where the Bible is silent. We believe we’re to do Bible things in Bible ways, and call Bible things by Bible names.”
If you want to find a church that follows that motto, we cordially invite you to visit us. Everyone is welcome.
Cosby Church of Christ is located at 4894 Hooper Highway, Cosby.
