(Red Oak) -- A Des Moines woman faces a charge following a traffic stop in Montgomery County early Monday morning.
The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office says 51-year-old April Michelle Nehls was arrested at around 12:45 a.m. for driving while barred. Authorities say the arrest occurred after deputies conducted a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 71 near 265th Street. Upon investigation, authorities say it was determined that Nehls had a barred license.
Nehls was taken to the Montgomery County Jail and held on $2,000 bond.
