First Iowa State Bank in Albia has donated $502 to area churches after receiving signatures at their Christmas Open House on Friday, Dec. 13, 2024. A total of 15 churches were represented by signatures.
Albia churches receiving donations were Albia Trinity Church, St. Mary’s Catholic Church, First Christian Church, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Albia Baptist Temple, Cornerstone Community Church, River of Life Family Worship, Avery Methodist Church, Harvest Fellowship of Albia and St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Georgetown.
Churches receiving donations from other local areas were St. Patrick’s Catholic Church of Melrose, Lovilia United Methodist Church and St. Peter’s Catholic Church both of Lovilia, Lighthouse Church of the Nazarene of Moravia, and Chariton First United Methodist.
