Company Announces Plan to Launch Complimentary After-School and Weekend Access to Certain Clubs for High School Students

President Announced Reestablishment of Presidential Fitness Test in Late July

IRVINE, Calif., Aug. 13, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Fitness International, LLC, one of the nation's leading health club companies with hundreds of locations nationwide, today announced its strong support of the President's ongoing effort to promote youth health and fitness and reestablish the Presidential Fitness Test. To help with this mission, Fitness International will offer high school students, in collaboration with local high schools, complimentary after-school access to their nearby LA Fitness and City Sports Club locations. This will begin this fall.

"We are committed to ensuring that our high school students have greater access to fitness and fun," said Jill Hill, President of Club Operations at Fitness International. "Our support of the national push for youth fitness, nutrition, and the reestablishment of the Presidential Fitness Test, reinforces our company's longstanding commitment to health and wellness for all. We look forward to welcoming more students to our gyms and assisting the Administration in their mission to help our young people build stronger, healthier lives."

To support the President's efforts to promote health and fitness among America's youth, Fitness International will be launching a complimentary after-school and weekend fitness initiative this fall. Students who are in high school and at least 16 years old will be invited to access select LA Fitness and City Sports Club locations at select times across the country for the 2025/2026 school year.

There will be no charge for participation by eligible youth. Some locations will begin pilot programs as early as September, with a wider rollout anticipated in the following months. Fitness International encourages local communities, schools, and parents to get involved and support this nationwide movement for healthier youth.
