The days we are in, are hard and very unsettling. It feels at times, like uncertainty, doubt, and confusion are the order of the day, and it is affecting our emotional and psychological well-being. Feelings of hopelessness and fear, are overwhelming at times. So, how do we make sense of a world that is ever-changing?

We look to God for Heavenly insight about how to live each day.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil.” Proverbs 3:5-7 Every person deals with a mindset that is different from the people around you. No matter how much time is spent with others, the tendency to want things done our way, is ever-present.

When bad things happen, it affects your mind and your heart and your soul! It is hard to get focused on positive energy, when the pull of negative energy is so powerful. But take heart! Seek wisdom from God: “For the Lord gives wisdom; from His Mouth come knowledge and understanding. He holds success in store for the upright, He is a Shield to those whose walk is blameless, for He guards the course of the just and protects the way of His faithful ones.” Proverbs 2:6-8

When you encounter negative energy, seek out positive energy. You have it within you to care for others in a loving way. Don’t wait for the world to come to you!

Be willing to be a loving extension of Jesus, to those you encounter in your travels. That just means, to be a giver of tender loving care (TLC).

Sometimes, it feels that the telling of lies and inappropriate conduct, is ever-present. But remember, what goes round, comes round! Desire to do good and not evil. “The desire of the righteous ends only in good, but the hope of the wicked only in wrath. One person gives freely, yet gains even more; another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty. A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.” Proverbs 11:23-25

In your part of the world, make the world a better place, by loving others as God loves you. It is within each of us to be neighborly and helpful to others. Remember when you see bad conduct, go the other way, and lift people up! “The wicked desire the stronghold of evildoers, but the root of the righteous endures.” Proverbs 12:12

When Jesus came into the world, He knew that there would be battles to be fought for people’s souls. He came to lift up the down-trodden, and to give inspiration to combat bad circumstances.

Jesus has a standing invitation to every person who is struggling, and that includes all of us.

“Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30

We have much to be thankful for, as we go into the Thanksgiving Season. God is ever-present to guide you through your life. No matter what you are facing, God is here to help you. God loves you! Pass it on!

From my heart to yours,
