KOOTENAI COUNTY, Idaho - A 23-year-old Idaho man was arrested after allegedly firing a gun toward drivers on I-90 near the state line.
Idaho State Police responded to the incident around 8 p.m. and shut down the interstate in both directions.
Officers approached the man, who was on the median, and took him into custody after giving verbal commands.
An investigation revealed that he fired approximately 41 rounds at interstate traffic.
ISP said that he was 'cited and released' on the charges of first offense DUI, exhibition or use of a deadly weapon, and disturbing the peace.
He was booked into Kootenai County Jail for unlawful discharge of a firearm.
The situation was resolved without further incident, and no one was injured.
Idaho State Police will continue to investigate.
