GREAT FALLS, Mont. — The Cascade County Health Department is investigating a confirmed case of measles in an adult resident, officials announced Monday.
Health officers said the individual tested positive for measles and is currently isolating at home. The person has been reported as vaccinated, but officials said their vaccination status has not yet been confirmed.
The source of exposure remains unknown. Health officials said there is potential that people in the community may have been exposed, though specific locations and exposure points have not yet been identified.
The health department said additional information will be released as the investigation continues.
