VIRGINIA CITY — Get ready for a mix of originality, western and bluegrass from the duo of John Lowell and Joanne Gardner at 7 p.m. on Saturday at the Elling House Arts & Humanities Center, 404 E. Idaho St., Virginia City.
Lowell, a songwriter, singer and guitarist, has been performing for more than 40 years and was honored with the 2024 Governor’s Arts Award. He’s toured the world with his bands, Kane’s River, Deep River, and others.
Gardner, too, has been singing for more than 40 years, sharing the stage with other noted singers, including Vince Gill, Shawn Colvin and Emmylou Harris.
Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the door.
