"Laugh While You're Living" is a night of laughter and song, celebrating hope, resilience, and the healing power of joy. This special evening is designed to uplift cancer survivors, veterans, and anyone facing life’s toughest battles.

At its heart is Bill Refsland — a 10-time cancer survivor with a sharp wit and unmatched courage. Despite enduring over 60 rounds of chemo and 21 surgeries, Refsland brings humor, honesty, and heart to the stage with one message: we heal through laughter, love, and lifting each other up.

"Laugh While You're Living," hosted by Jim Ward with Bill Resfland and Aberdeen Alley takes place Friday, Aug. 15 at the Covellite Theatre.

Joining Bill is the dynamic, free-spirited band Aberdeen Alley, providing playful background antics and closing the evening with live music that will move your spirit.

This show is more than entertainment — it’s encouragement, education, and soul-deep inspiration. Through stories, music, and shared laughter, Refsland reveals how he stays positive, how we can do the same, and why spreading joy is the most powerful medicine of all.

There is a $10 suggested donation with proceeds benefitting cancer patients.
