OCT. 15• 1:50 a.m., unsecured building.

• 1:50 a.m., suspicious vehicle complaint at a gas station.

• 11:44 p.m., contacted the driver of a car that parked behind a bar and turned the lights off. The driver said he was making a phone call.

• assisted an investigation with apprehending two subjects upon their arrival to an area hotel.

OCT. 16• 11:20 a.m., complaint of undelivered or possible stolen package.

• 11:57 p.m., issued a city ordinance citation for possession of controlled substances to the driver of a car following a traffic stop for loud exhaust and tinted windows.

• report for record of a two car crash where both drivers left the scene.

• a no trespass and no contact order followed a suspicious situation complaint.

• issued citations for city ordinance violations for possession of controlled substances and drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop.

OCT. 17• 3:26 p.m., report for record of damage to a company vehicle.

• assisted Price County Human Services with a residential living conditions check.

• shoplifting complaint.

• citations to be issued to the owners of two dogs that injured a deer to the point it needed to be put down.

OCT. 18• truancy report referred to Price County Human Services.

• a welfare check request required forced entry and medical transport to MMC-Park Falls.

OCT. 19• responded to a head-on collision on State Highway 13 at Hamilton Road.

OCT. 20• 8:02 p.m., responded to a dog-at-large report on State Highway 13. The dog was located and returned to the owner.

• 12:45 p.m., report for record of a driver who backed into a gas station garbage can.

• a property damage complaint from a bar.

PHILLIPS POLICE DEPARTMENT

The Phillips Police Department public calls for Oct. 14-20, 2024.

OCT. 14• 1:24 p.m., responded to a reported crash involving a 2003 Cadillac DeVille and a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado at a South Lake Avenue business parking lot. A woman was issued citations for hit-and-run of an unattended vehicle, and failure to report an accident.

• 2 p.m., a South Eyder Avenue resident complained of people knocking on her door continuously.

OCT. 15• 12:06 p.m., a woman was issued a citation for an illegal dumping ordinance violation after responding to a complaint form a North Lake Avenue business.

• 7:42 p.m., issued a citation for operating a motor vehicle while license suspended to the driver of a 2021 Nissan after a traffic stop for speeding on North Lake Avenue.

OCT. 16• 10:12 a.m., security system false alarm during maintenance at a South Lake Avenue business.

OCT. 18• 11:36 p.m., responded to a report of a deceased non-domesticated animal tied to the receiver hitch of a vehicle on North Argyle Avenue. The resident said a sibling had pulled a prank.

OCT. 19• 2:17 p.m., a disturbing the peace complaint regarding two individuals shouting in a Flambeau Avenue residence.

OCT. 20• 11:43 p.m., cleared and secured a business after a report of someone entering the building.

• 3 p.m., a motorist on Airport Road reported a UTV driving in the wrong lane of traffic.

• 4:55 p.m., investigating a reported hit and run crash on South Lake Avenue.

• 11 p.m., assisted Price County Sheriff’s office with a traffic stop of a 2012 FORD F-150 on Old Highway 13 at North Lake Avenue. A man was taken into custody after drugs and drug paraphernalia were recovered. Information on a woman will be referred to the Price County District Attorney.
