I. Call to Order

The South Winneshiek CSD Board of Education held a work session on July 21, 2025, in the High School Study Hall in Calmar. The work session was called to order at 6:00 pm.

II. Roll Call

Present: Ron Hemesath, Wendy Mihm-Herold, Landon Holthaus, and Cathy Sabelka, Absent: Patricia Schissel

III. Approval of Agenda

Motion to approve agenda as presented. Motion made by: Cathy Sabelka

Motion seconded by: Landon Holthaus

Voting: Unanimously Approved

IV. Work Session

1. Discussion about Bond Referendum 2025-Investing in our Children’s Future -

There were about 40 community representatives present at the work session to discuss and share the 2025 Bond Referendum information. They were asked to help build excitement and spread the word about our initiative to pursue a $13,000,000 bond vote on November 4, 2025.
