Denton singer Breanna Nix advanced to the top three on the latest season of American Idol on Monday night. Nix and the two other remaining competitors — John Foster and Jamal Roberts — will make hometown visits to film ahead of Sunday’s grand finale, so Nix will be back in Denton on Wednesday for a celebration.

Along with a parade and a free concert from Nix in downtown Denton, several businesses are celebrating her top three status with various specials and discounts Wednesday.

Here’s a rundown:

Norman Roscoe will be live screen printing “Vote for Breanna” tees for $10, or for free for those who bring their own shirts to be printed.

Beth Marie’s Old Fashioned Ice Cream will reveal a new ice cream flavor and host a meet-and-greet with Nix at 9 a.m.

The following bars will celebrate by offering a special cocktail Wednesday night: East Side, Free Play Denton, The Plot Twist, Harvest House and LSA Burger.

D20 Tavern will offer half off 10-ounce and 16-ounce Big Trouble in Little D beer. Black Fox Brewing Co. will offer 50% off all checks until 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Game Changers Sports Bar & Grill and Dusty’s Bar & Grill will both offer $6.99 burger baskets and $3 wells.

True Leaf Studio and Rose Costumes will both offer a 23% discount (American Idol is currently in its 23rd season).

The Cookie Crave will have a 25% discount.

Blind Fox Food Truck will have a 20% discount.

Lone Star Naturals will give away free Winged Wellness samples. If customers buy a hat from Mallouf Hat Co. or bring their own, Mallouf can brand a cross onto the hat for free in honor of Nix’s dedication to her faith.

Studio LaSalle will offer “The Breanna” hair treatment and the “You’re going to Hollywood” blowout for $55 for the rest of May. Captiva Salon will give customers 20% off products if they show that they voted for Nix.

Flour Power Cooking Studio is honoring a limited discount code “BreannaNixIDOL”.
