Local police officers make three arrests

AUBURN — Police made these arrests Wednesday and Thursday according to DeKalb County Jail records.

Jamie Newsome, 42, of the 3800 block of Euclid Avenue, Fort Wayne, was arrested at 10:45 a.m. May 21 by the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office on charges of driving while suspended with prior, a Class A misdemeanor; and operating a vehicle without proof of financial responsibility, a Class C misdemeanor. Newsome was being held on $450 cash-only bond. Newsome posted bond to be released at 3:12 p.m. May 21 according to jail records.

Homer Decker, 50, of the 1000 block of Elm Street, Huntington, was arrested at 4 p.m. May 21 by the Waterloo Marshal’s Office on a charge of driving while suspended with prior, a Class A misdemeanor. Decker was being held on $450 cash-only bond. Decker posted bond to be released at 9:27 p.m. May 21 according to jail records.

Nicole Haritos, 41, of the 1200 block of South Lee Street, Garrett, was arrested at 12:33 a.m. May 22 by Garrett Police on a charge of criminal trespass, a Class A misdemeanor. Haritos was being held on $450 cash-only bond according to jail records.
