The only surviving son of Lori Vallow Daybell is speaking out about his mother's crimes.
Daybell was found guilty in the deaths of her two youngest children and a romantic rival.
She received life sentences in Idaho for the murders, and last month a Phoenix judge sentenced her to an additional life sentence with parole after 25 years.
For the first time since the sentencing her son, Colby Ryan, opened up about the experience of speaking at the sentencing.
Ryan, who was dealing with health problems at the time, says he is glad he could take part in the hearing virtually, and he says there is no reason for Daybell to be a part of his life going forward.
"And the reason is because there's no rationality between talking to her. When you speak to her, she doesn't, she's not. You're not really talking to a normal person.’’ said Ryan, “And so there's, there's nothing that I'm going to get from her. Even if there's an apology, there would be nothing that's satisfying or, like, okay, I'm good. like, i just learned to move on without needing that."
