Mansfield officials are looking for residents to weigh in on a proposed Levy Lid Lift to support Criminal Law and Justice Services, including law enforcement, public safety and related operational needs.
The proposal would increase property tax revenue to fund essential services that town leaders said are critical to community well-being.
As part of the process, the town is seeking volunteers to serve on both “pro” and “con” committees, three for each.
- "Yay" committee: In favor of placing the Levy Lid Lift on the ballot
- "Nay" committee: Opposed to placing the Levy Lid Lift on the ballot
Officials encourage residents to respond to ensure transparency and allow adequate time for planning.
Those interested in serving on either committee or with questions about the proposal can call Town Hall at 509-683-1112.
