HELENA, Mont. – Governor Greg Gianforte and First Lady Susan Gianforte are inviting Montanans to the Montana State Capitol Christmas tree lighting ceremony on Monday, December 2.
The event will take place at 5:00 p.m. in the Capitol rotunda. Attendees will enjoy songs from The Carroll College Choirs, directed by Dr. Michael Gray.
The 2024 State Capitol Christmas tree was harvested from state trust lands near Bozeman. This was done in coordination with the Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation (DNRC), the Montana Logging Association, and Mike Duffy Logging.
Governor Gianforte and First Lady Gianforte encourage all Montanans to visit the State Capitol to see the Christmas tree throughout December.
