A 29-year-old Otterbein man has been arrested and charged with multiple counts of child molesting and exploitation following a joint investigation involving several Indiana law enforcement agencies.
Miguel Casas was taken into custody on June 11 after a joint investigation led by the Indiana State Police and the Tippecanoe County Sheriff’s Office, with support from multiple local and state agencies. The investigation began in April 2025 when a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children alerted authorities to possible child exploitation activity.
Investigators uncovered images and videos allegedly depicting the sexual abuse of children under 12, which were traced to Casas. Search warrants executed at multiple locations led to further evidence suggesting some incidents may have occurred in both Warren and Tippecanoe counties.
Casas faces two Level 1 felony counts of child molesting involving a defendant over 21, two Level 4 felony counts of fondling a child under 14, and four Level 4 felony counts of child exploitation with aggravating circumstances. He is currently held at the Warren County Jail.
Authorities stated the investigation is ongoing, and the case will be reviewed by the Tippecanoe County Prosecutor’s Office for possible additional charges.
