NEW BRITAN TWP, Pa. -- A Bucks County park is expanding thanks to a funding boost.

Pennsylvania Sen. Steve Santarsiero and state Rep. Shelby Labs announced Wednesday that $190,000 will be used to expand Peace Valley Park.

According to a press release, the county will use the funds to acquire 2.6 acres of land along Chapman Road, which will become part of the park.

The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Community Conservation Partnerships Program will lead this expansion.

Additional information about the Community Conservation Partnerships Program can be found on the DCNR website.
