Terroristic threats

Pennsylvania state police at Troop C, Punxsutawney, charged Rex Walker Jr., 56, of Glen Campbell, with a summary count of harassment and a first-degree misdemeanor count of terroristic threats around 7:30 p.m. Thursday along Urey Road, according to police.

Troopers were responding to an active domestic when they determined Walker pushed a Glen Campbell woman to the ground and threatened to kill her, police said.

Police arrested Walker on scene and lodged him in Indiana County Jail. Unsecured bail was set at $5,000.

Walker was arraigned Friday, and his preliminary hearing before Homer City Magisterial District Judge Susanne V. Steffee is scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5.

BURRELL TOWNSHIP

Criminal mischief

State police at Troop A, Indiana, investigated an incident in which security cameras, vehicle tires and household electronics were damaged sometime between midnight and 2 a.m. Oct. 15 along Main Street, according to police.

Items damaged included a vehicle tire, valued at $437.97; a porch light, valued at $25; a wooden chair, valued at $25; and an Xfinity outdoor camera, valued at $360, police said.

BURNSIDE BOROUGH, CLEARFIELD COUNTY

Burglary

State police at Troop C, Punxsutawney, responded to a series of thefts Friday along Route 219 in Burnside as well as along Urey and Fire Tower roads in Indiana County.

Police said multiple items were stolen from unlocked vehicles and buildings between 3:45 and 4:30 a.m. Friday. The suspect’s vehicle was observed to be a newer model, darker-maroon-in-color Hyundai Palisade SUV.

Troopers at the Punxsutawney barracks asked that anyone with surveillance video in the area that may have captured the incident contact them at (814) 938-0510.
