Bozeman Police reports Monday included:

• Caller left a voicemail saying she received two letters from Toyota Financial Services saying her vehicle has been repossessed and her car is a total loss. She said her car was never repossessed and her car is not a total loss.

• A caller said she left packages in an unsecured lock box in the mailbox cluster at the instruction of the postal employee shortly after Thanksgiving. She did not receive tracking information for the packages and had to refund the receivers of the package. The packages contained girls clothing estimated to be $100 in total value. Caller was advised the incident would be documented and she was provided a number for future follow up.

• Caller reported a staff member was told by an elderly woman that she was unable to drive because her son had pulled her hair and hurt her foot.

• A 42-year-old Bozeman man was charged with assault on a peace officer and was held at the Gallatin County Detention Center on a no bond hold.

  • • Caller said a neighbor is upset because she walks her dog off leash past their property on public property. The man stands on his property and observes. She said he yelled at her once about her dog and also once spit in her general direction. She feels this is harassment and stalking behavior. She was told the man is allowed to stand out his property and was advised to no longer walk past his house. She was upset because it’s public property but was told the man’s actions do not constitute harassment or stalking. She said this is the reason people don’t like cops and the officer is a “fcking douchebag”. The officer then concluded the conversation.

• A man in a wheelchair was reported having an episode and was drawing blood on himself by hitting himself hard by a bus stop. He was wheeling himself back and forth. The man told an officer he was frustrated due to the cold. He had cracks on his hand, which were now bleeding. He did not want to go to the hospital. Officer Dams heroically applied gauze to the cracks in the male’s hand. He was going to continue to wait for the bus and was asked to stop yelling.

Total records: 79.
